Building regulations define the minimum fire-resistance duration for doorsets—typically 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes—based on their location and purpose within the building. As a certified manufacturer of fire-rated doors, our designs are tested and evaluated by a UKAS-accredited laboratory according to British Standard fire test methods.

Certification through the Warringtonfire/BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Scheme ensures that our manufacturing processes meet stringent quality requirements and that all certified doorsets are fit for purpose.

The Halspan 45 US core system is used in our fire-rated doorsets and is compliant with key North American standards, including NFPA 252, ANSI/UL 10C, UBC 7-2, and CAN4-S104. In addition to its excellent fire performance, Halspan 45 is also suitable for manufacturing fire-rated frames.

Surface facings can be applied to provide a finish suitable for veneering, high-pressure laminates, or painting, allowing design flexibility without compromising fire safety.
