X-Ray Proof Steel Door And Frame

X-ray-proof steel doors and frames are designed to protect against harmful radiation. These full-flush doors feature interlocked hairline seams along the vertical edges and have no visible seams on the faces. Doors specified as seamless have no visible seams on either the faces or the vertical edges.

The face sheets are fully supported by a lead sheet that covers the entire width and height of both the door and frame. The thickness of the lead lining must match the lead equivalency of the adjacent wall to ensure continuous protection. All hardware components such as locks, vision panels (glass), and louvers must be lead-shielded by the manufacturer.

The top and bottom edges of the door are enclosed with a 1.5 mm inverted steel channel, welded securely in place for structural integrity and radiation containment.
